Band bio

The Automatic

The Automatic have come a long way since their humble beginnings in Cowbridge, South Wales.

It was their third single, the enduring Monster, which was released in June 2006 and reached #4 in the U.K singles chart that boosted the bands exposure to a whole new audience. This was shortly followed by their debut album Not Accepted Anywhere which showcased the band's self declared "electro-disco-metal-rock" style.

In June 2007, the band released Not Accepted Anywhere in America and Canada shortly after appearing on the infamous Vans Warped Tour which gained them a decent fan-base stateside.

September 2007 saw the departure of keyboardist Alex Pennie from the band who was subsequently replaced by Paul Mullen of yourcodenameis:milo fame. It has been reported that Mullen has fitted into his new role well and has even penned some of the songs that will feature on their new album which is currently in production.
