The Magic Numbers
21st October, 2009
The Magic Numbers have put together a nation-wide tour of some of their favourite small pubs and clubs in the UK which runs from mid-November to mid-December. You can catch them in Wrexham on the 25th of November and in Cardiff on the 30th of November.
Tickets have been kept to a special price of £10 for these intimate shows where they will be debuting new material.
The band, currently putting the finishing touches to their third studio album, due for release in spring next year, are eager to get back out on the road and play for everyone. "We've had some of our best memories doing shows like these, when everything is up close and personal, the atmosphere can be so intense and beautiful", says Michele Stodart.
"We've written so many new songs and have really had the chance to experiment more in our own studio this time around. We can't wait to get out there and make this music come alive with our fans", says Romeo Stodart. "You learn so much about new songs in front of an audience. In our experience, they always get better that way", adds Sean Gannon
Especially for this tour, the band have made a download of a new song ‘Hurt So Good' - "so you can sing along with us at the gigs", says Angela Gannon.
They have also written a new song with Malian superstars Amadou and Mariam called ‘All I Believe In' which is featured on the movie soundtrack album to "The Twilight saga : New Moon". The digital album is available on iTunes now to pre-order.
